2009 Camp Long Lake Staff
STAFF APPLICATION
So you think you have what it takes to be a Camp Long Lake Staff Member?
Camp Staff is one of the most rewarding summer experiences--but it is also very challenging! For two months, you live the Scouting program and act as a mentor and teacher to Scouts. Camp Staff lets your work outside, but it also asks you to give 110% of yourself in service to your fellow Scouts and Scouters. If you think that you work well under pressure, can be flexible, teach a variety of learners, and be an example of the Scout Oath and Law in practice, consider applying for Camp Staff.
Download the Staff Application below and return it to the Potawatomi Area Council Service Center. The application is in PDF format. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat reader you can download it by clicking on the link to get Acrobat Reader. A member of the Camp Leadership will contact you about arranging an interview.
If you are not sure about working an entire summer on camp staff consider working a week as a Counselor in Training (CIT). This will give you the opportunity to see what being on staff is all about. Below is a link to the CIT application.
